Pinch Pot Making Classes with Erin Conyers

Join Erin Conyers for a healing evening of creativity and delight as you shape and mold your very own ceramic work of art. No wheels needed, this is a pinch pot technique that will guide you through the process of molding and shaping with your hands. This event will be hosted in the iconic Hotel Kansas City lobby. Come early to snag yourself a snack, beverage or bottle of wine at The Classic - hotel lobby bar - and get cozy with your friends before the class begins. Everything you would need will be provided including the clay and materials.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Erin is a ceramic artist and yoga teacher working in Kansas City, MO. She graduated with a BFA in ceramics from KCAI in 2019 and is currently working out of her ceramics studio in the northeast.

Sharing her love of clay is a part of her passion and she is now offering workshops to help make clay more accessible to those who don’t always have access. Join Erin in the lobby of Hotel Kansas City on every third Sunday of the month from 4pm-6pm to make your own ceramic object!

Erin will provide clay and tools for you to make your own cup, small dish, or whatever else you have in mind! She will guide you through hand building techniques and methods to help bring your ideas to life. After the workshop, Erin will take the pieces to her studio to go through the finishing processes of firing and glazing. In about 2-3 weeks, your pieces will be available for pickup at the Hotel Kansas City front desk.

This event is open to all, regardless of your experience with clay. Unlock your creative energy and take a new ceramic object home with you! Bring a buddy, bring your favorite bev and come play :)
