has been an active creator for almost fifteen years, working in both theatre and film as an actor, director, writer, designer, editor, and producer, picking up several awards along the way. An interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Transylvania, this solid cultural core influences many aspects of her practice. For Pinch Maria will present the collision of monologue and a loop pedal - words, multilingualism, repetition. Not really spoken word, not really theatre. Something in the liminal space?

is a local event host, performer and radio personality. He's also an auctioneer, musician and hypnotist with a deep and mysterious bag of tricks. He’ll be presenting a selection of his finest comedy tunes!

is a Kitchener local performance artist with a strong background in Fusion Belly Dance and Authentic Movement, with a great deal of dabbling in many other styles. She is also a Dance Movement Therapist through Unique Journeys Counselling, where she uses movement/dance and somatic experiencing to help folks process emotions, stress and trauma in the body.

(he/them) is a writer, poet, comedian, the technician at The Pinch Cabaret, and a lot of other things too. It depends who they're talking to. Braeden has performed at Hillside Festival, Guelph Comedy Festival, the Canadian Festival for Spoken Word, and the festivals they create in their bedroom. For Pinch #15, Braeden will emerge from the dim light of the tech booth to perform 3 bright poems about the search for truthfulness and usefulness in seemingly meaningless things.

is a white, queer settler originally from Mi'kma'ki (mick-maw-key) who currently lives in so-called Kitchener. She started performing stand-up in 2021 and, rumour has it, is very excited to be here this evening.
