Welcome to our July 4th Poetry in Motion featuring Zia Ravenscroft.Zia Ravenscroft is a queer and transgender writer, actor, drag king, and university student. He has been published in Starling, The Spinoff, Overcom, and Bad Apple amongst others. They are a member of the queer film collective The New New, and in 2023 they performed at the National Poetry Slam Finals. He's not like other boys- he's worse.
As usual, we start with an open mic - please show up a few minutes early if you want to sign up.
Cost is $2-$5 on the door - we do cash only, but the bar can usually get you cash if you need it.
