Pikes Peak Tactical Less-Lethal Course

This course covers usage of TASER Civilian Series devices, as well as the X1 Professional Series Device. Students will learn important considerations for use of TASER devices along with other Conducted Electrical Weapons. Alongside TASER, students will also learn about the appropriate useage of OC spray devices, as well as basic handcuffing and restraint techniques commonly used in private security roles. The course requires a written examination for successful completion.

Students arrive with the following equipment:

- Pants and long, or short sleeve shirts

- Close-toed shoes or boots

- Clear/transparent eye protection

- Note-taking equipment

- Food/Water/Snacks

Students are highly recommended to bring their lunch with them as scheduling only allows for a thirty-minute lunch break.
