Experience an unforgettable evening of world-class jazz as 18 outstanding young musicians take the stage for a unique international collaboration!SHOWAYJO brings together 12 of WAYJO’s finest musicians—6 of whom were selected to represent Australia on tour in Tokyo this September—and six top students from Japan’s prestigious Showa University of Music.
Under the expert direction of Gemma Farrell and Masa Ikeda, this powerhouse ensemble will deliver a swinging hour of classic big band repertoire, with soulful vocals by Sofie Kerr.
