Please join us for a good time, great food, and legendary stories about some of our local pioneer families.Come spend the day with local legends who can share the history, heart, and stories behind the families who helped shape Fort Pierce and St. Lucie County.
The famous Summerlin family will be frying fish until they sell out. Stop by, enjoy a plate, and congratulate the Summerlin's on the newly named E.C. Summerlin A1A Bridge. You’ll also have the chance to hear more about their family lineage, which began in Florida in 1855 and here in St. Lucie County in 1888.
Fish plates will be $20, and Zelle will be accepted. All proceeds from the Summerlin Fish Fry will go directly to Stella Maris Environmental Research.
We will also have a slow-roasted pig cooked all night long in a
la caja china by Tru-Sales in honor of Wesley Davis and his beloved pig, Ollie. 🐖🎣🌊
The slow-roasted pig will be plated, and donations will be accepted to help raise money for water quality projects, conservation education, and the Wesley’s Island Eco Camp through Stella Maris Environmental Research.
This event is about food, family, history, conservation, and protecting the waters we all love.
Guests will also have the chance to check out Jim Wilson and learn more about the incredible history of the 1715 Fleet, a legendary part of Florida’s coastal history. Scheduled times for presentations and storytelling will be announced soon.
Join the Wesley Davis family and hear more about their heritage, the stories of Wesley’s Island, and the memories that continue to make this place so special to our community.
Come hungry. Bring a friend. Hear the stories. Support the mission. We’ll have raffles, great local legends to meet, and plenty of memories to make.
Come learn about our history, our waters, and the legendary families who have loved and protected this place for generations.
