Pierres is a standout figure in the Belgian music scene.
A brilliant outlier, with offbeat lyrics, unconventional music videos, and concerts that are as hilarious as they are touching, filled with poetry and his inimitable laughter, Brussels-based singer Pierre Leroy reflects, searches, and bares his soul through fresh French pop reminiscent of artists like Mathieu Boogaerts, Olivier Marguerit, and Jacques.
Barely launched online in early 2019, the project quickly captured the public’s curiosity with its originality and freshness, becoming a finalist in the Du F. dans le texte competition and winning the auditions for the Parcours Francofaune the same year.
With his debut album, Disque de platine (titre temporaire), released in the summer of 2021, the artist outlined his original ambition: to unite all the "Pierres" within himself, without constraint or compromise.
After concerts across Belgium, France, and Switzerland, Pierres continues his kaleidoscopic explorations with ÇAVA, his second album released on March 21. Danceable beats and catchy melodies layered over groovy basslines reflect an ever-growing pop ambition. Alongside the desire to stay true to himself, there is also a drive to bring people together—to sing and make others sing.
On stage, Pierres performs as a vibrant indie pop-rock power trio led by Pierre himself, a multi-instrumentalist and improvisational actor. A true phenomenon, he floods his audience with his radiant, generous energy, delivering performances that leave spectators both exhilarated and grinning from ear to ear.
