Pier Pressure | Homecoming Weekend Finale

Sundays during Homecoming have always been open-ended. By then, we’re scattered across the city or getting ready to head home.
**Pier Pressure is our reason to stay.**
We’re bringing Black UM alumni, students, friends, family and supporters together for one more day on the water— a space to reconnect, meet new people, celebrate our cherished community, and make more memories before Homecoming comes to an end.
Black UM has given us so many shared experiences, relationships, and memories. This is our chance to honor what brings us together and **start a tradition.**
Sundays used to be for brunch, but it’s time for a change. **Our Sundays should be spent on a yacht!**
So book that evening flight or take Monday off. And tell a friend to tell a friend!
### 🎟️ ADMISSION: 21+ ONLY
IMPORTANT: This RSVP does NOT include admission to any yacht. Your RSVP lets us know you’re attending. All guests are required to follow the booking guidelines to participate and complete an official yacht reservation.
🚨Don’t wait until the last minute to secure your yacht! **Yachts are limited. First come, first served.**
### **🛥️ HOW TO BOOK**
1. **Build Your Group**
- Gather your passengers and choose one group leader.
- **Maximum: 13 passengers per yacht, excluding the captain.**
2. **Contact Us**
- The group leader emails the Pier Pressure team to begin the booking process and join the WhatsApp group with Epic Boat Rentals.
3. **Select Your Yacht**
- Epic Boat Rentals will provide available vessels and pricing based on your group's preferences and current availability.
- 50-60 ft yachts range from $1,300-$1,600 for the 5 hour charter
4. **Secure Your Yacht**
- A 30-40% deposit is required to secure your reservation.
5. **Pay Your Balance**
- Remaining balances are due November 8th.

### IMPORTANT PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
Pier Pressure takes place on privately chartered vessels and involves inherent risks associated with boating and water-based activities.
Participants may encounter risks including, but not limited to:
- Slips, trips, and falls
- Collisions
- Drowning or other water-related injuries
- Weather and sea conditions
- Actions or omissions of other participants
Pier Pressure is not sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated with the University of Miami. Participation is subject to the terms, policies, and safety requirements of the charter company and marina. All participants are responsible for reviewing and completing any required waivers and safety documentation before boarding.
