Join us on for an hour of gentle walking of Edinburgh's Georgian New Town as we explore Edinburgh's illustrious music, literary and film history - from classical composers to 'Eurovision' and the iconic Scottish folk band 'The Corries.'



This is a unique and creative walking tour led by our passionate local historian Matthew Shiel and our talented resident 'Pied Piper,' Dr Jake Spence (PhD, University of Edinburgh) who will illustrate and accompany our journey with his enchanting fiddle playing - live!

Our tour begins and ends outside the Orchard bar and restaurant (1 Howard Place, Edinburgh EH3 5JP) and will include 30 minutes of gentle walking around the beautiful streets of Edinburgh's Georgian New Town - a UNESCO world heritage site. Following the tour, you will be given the opportunity to visit the Orchard bar for refreshments.
