​Kickoff: Sunday, August 9 · 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET

​Location: Downtown Toronto (venue details shared with registered participants) + online participation welcome

​Submission deadline: Wednesday, August 12 · 11:59 PM ET — kick off in person or online, then get 3 extra days to polish and submit

​What we can tell you: you'll build a working AI application at the intersection of LLMs, agents, and insurance tech. Think MCP servers, AI agents that navigate the real world, and LLM-powered products — real software engineering, not model training. The prompt is intentionally open-ended: creativity, domain understanding, and how you interpret the problem are part of the judging.

​Students and new grads in CS, engineering, or related fields

​Builders comfortable shipping with modern coding tools and LLM APIs

​Individual participation only — no teams. Your work, your win.

​In-person (Toronto) or fully online — both are eligible for prizes
