Picture’s Up:Writing Panel ++ Skill-Building Workshops

Tulsa's film industry is booming — and you can be part of it.

Saturday, 5/16/26 our Picture's Up! workshop takes place at TCC Center for Creativity from noon-4 and we continue connecting with leadership from Lowdown Season 2 with a deep dive panel with the show's writers followed by breakout workshops with the sound and camera utility departments, as well as set lighting and grip basic from the G&E team.

We'll hear from writers Duffy Bourdeau, Loe Berney and Olivia Purnell for a deep dive into the writing process, how they got started and inspiration for some of your favorite scenes. After that, we will break out into skill-building workshops with Royce Sharp (sound mixer), Steve Mathis (cheif lighting technician) and Tyler Plant (key grip), Chistopher Geukens ( A cam 1st assistant camera), Genna Palermo (A cam 2nd assistant camera) and Charles Elmore (B cam operator).

Picture's Up! Join the Tulsa Film Collective for this free Saturday workshop series featuring department heads and key crew from Reservation Dogs and Lowdown Season 2 (currently filming in Tulsa). Each session spotlights a different department with hands-on experience, industry insights, and networking with working professionals.
