Celebrating Heritage Open Days and Great Yarmouth Local History and Archaeological Society's History Fair, we are delighted to offer a FREE talk, 'Picture of Yarmouth' on Saturday 14 September at 11am, taking place at Great Yarmouth Minster. In January 1820, John Preston published, 'The Picture of Yarmouth', an illustrated account of the public establishments in the town. This talk looks at some of those buildings and the publication of a book, published in 2021 with lottery funding, to commemorate the original's bi-centenary.
Booking is essential with bookings opening on Monday 19 August at 10am.
