Following the release of the critically acclaimed Follow Footsteps EP, PICTISH TRAIL - aka Johnny Lynch - returns to Celtic Connections for a special performance revisiting his 20-year back catalogue.
Known for his electro-acoustic psych-pop style, Johnny will present stripped-back "reduxes" of his songs, accompanied by an inventive trio musicians: Semay Wu on cello, Gillian Fleetwood on harp, and long-time collaborator Susan Bear on keys and bass guitar. This unique show offers a fresh, intimate take on Pictish Trail’s distinctive, genre-blurring sound.
