Picnic en Blanc

Picnic en Blanc brings together people who share a love of good food, music, conversation, and savoring unique moments. This splendid and magical evening features guests dressed in white gathered in a beautiful public space with their most elegant picnics to dine and dance under the stars.

The original event, Le Diner en Blanc, began in Paris in 1988 when François Pasquier invited a group of friends to an elegant outdoor dinner at the Bois de Boulogne, asking them to dress in white so they could find each other. The event's presence has grown to over 85 cities, with almost 17,000 gathering for the 30th-anniversary event in Paris.

Picnic en Blanc is our slightly more simplified take on the event that we think you are going to enjoy thoroughly!

Important details for attending Picnic en Blanc - everything is WHITE

TABLE SETUP: Guests are responsible for bringing their own folding table and white chairs (or white chair covers). Additionally, you will need white tablecloths, white cloth napkins, plates, flatware, and glassware. Suggested decor for the table such as white florals, contained candles (in a glass) or flameless candle/solar table lamp, battery-operated twinkle lights, and anything else that inspires you. The Gatherer has a couple of add-ons in the checkout to help you with your decor. Having a cart or wagon to haul your gear will prove useful. Just be sure it can fit under your table.

The creativity and style of your tables will be rewarded. We'll be naming a "Best Table Decor" winner at the end of the evening!

ATTIRE: Plan to arrive in style and accessorize yourself from head to toe in white. Anything from an elegant gown to a casual white dress, or a nice pair of slacks and blouse. Whether you prefer to keep things fancy, minimal, or casual - elegance and sophistication are essential. That goes for the gentlemen as well!

FOOD & DRINKS: This event is intended for you to pack your best picnic! Think cheese boards, salads, and fabulous small bites all tucked away in your picnic basket, cooler bag, or tote. If you prefer to let us help you with that, we do have pre-order options available from The Gourmet Goddess and Sweet Nouveau. View the add-on options when purchasing your tickets.

Please note that outside alcohol is NOT PERMITTED. A cash bar will also be available during the event. Wine bottle options are available for pre-order. We highly recommend pre-ordering to minimize your time waiting in line throughout the evening.

ENTERTAINMENT: The fabulous Lauren Dukes will be performing for the evening. Visit the styled photo op area for some fabulous snapshots. Once everyone's table is set up, we will have our official welcome and initiate an iconic napkin wave to signify that the evening is about to begin.
