Hello and good day. The Shire of Thornwold, of the SCA, invites you to it's public demonstration picnic. Come and enjoy a casual afternoon at the lakeside in a medieval-like manor.
On July the 14th from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Lake padden playground shelter.
We shall be enjoying food, arts, crafting, and some casual medieval armored heavy combat fighting.
This event is held and managed by the Shire of Thornwold, a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. and is considered the official channel of this group here. Questions regarding its content should be directed to [email protected] or to the event host. People interacting with the event must adhere to the SCA Core value, behave with courtesy, honor, chivalry and respect, even in times of inevitable differences of opinion, and comply with SCA policy and modern law. The SCA prohibits harassment and bullying of all individuals and groups. Hate speech is not tolerated in the Society.
