Picnic at Pilcher

Join us for another August Picnic at Pilcher! Bring your own meal and meet at 5:30pm behind the Pilcher Park Nature Center (2501 Highland Park Dr, Joliet, IL 60432) for a late summer picnic and social time. We will then take a birding walk in search of possible early fall migrants and preserve regulars- Pilcher Park is a hotspot for species such as Tufted Titmouse, Pileated Woodpeckers, and even Great Horned Owls! Bug spray is suggested. Trails are a combination of paved and natural surface.
