Pickling Workshop

Get ready to dive into the tasty world of pickling! Join The Mindful Appetite, and co-facilitator, Daisy Espinal, at the Genesis Centre Kitchen, for an afternoon learning how to pickle - back by popular demand!

Whether you're a kitchen newbie or a pickling pro, this workshop is packed with tips, tricks, and plenty of jars to fill. Don’t miss out on this chance to spice up your snack game and meet fellow food lovers!

What To Expect:

• Our experienced facilitators, Daisy and Amanda, will guide you through the process of pickling from scratch, sharing tips and tricks along the way, along with how to reduce food waste in the home.
• Participants will assist with the pickling process of veggies of their choice.
• Participants should bring a bag or small box to transport their pickling jar(s) home.
• Please notify event organizers ahead of time for any dietary restrictions or allergies.

Please note, this class will begin promptly at 1 pm, and has a hard end time of 4 pm.
