We’re launching Bakersfield’s first Pickleball Moai on June 18 at the newly renovated courts at Jastro Park. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a curious newbie, this free 10-week activity will have something for everyone. Come out with a group for free play or take advantage of free pickleball instruction and learn how to play yourself! It’s the perfect opportunity to learn a new sport, meet new people to play against and get moving before the temperatures heat up.
Be sure to dress appropriately! For example, tennis shoes, athletic clothing, and a hat is recommended. Also, be sure to bring water, sunblock and a sweat towel.
