Pickle Party: Crafting Quick Pickles

Join us for a fun evening at Swan Brewing to learn the art of making quick pickles! We will chat about how to transform freshly harvested vegetables and herbs from your garden into delicious, tangy treats that will elevate your meals. UF/IFAS Extension experts will guide you through the entire process, from selecting the right produce to mastering the components of pickling.

During this workshop, you will:

• Explore the essential components of pickling, including brines, spices, and flavoring agents.
• Learn step-by-step techniques for preparing, seasoning, and jarring your pickles for maximum taste and crunch.
• Discover creative variations and flavor combinations to customize your pickles to suit your taste preferences.
• Take home your own container of freshly made quick pickles, along with the knowledge and confidence to continue pickling at home.
