PICC & Midline Insertion Course

Welcome to our hands-on PICC & Midline Insertion Course! This course provides a thorough didactic and practical approach to the PICC & Midline insertion and care. Topics covered include indications, complications, infection prevention, vascular anatomy, material features, assistive technologies, and informed consent requirements. Participants will gain hands-on experience with dynamic needle tip positioning (DNTP) and the Modified Seldinger Technique (MST) while following Maximal Sterile Barrier (MSB) precautions. This training will equip clinicians to deliver safe and effective care for patients undergoing PICC and/or Midline insertion. Ultrasound-guided IV insertion is covered in the course; however, it is strongly recommended to have some ultrasound IV proficiency before attending. General admission includes the $750 cost of materials. Students may share a PICC kit if arranged before the course. Preceptorship days are available for an additional fee. Organization and group discounts are available for +5 participants.
