Daniel Nicholson returns to solo piano recital performance after having children caused a slight hiatus in any such endeavours recently. The program is now confirmed and will be a very ambitious one:
Mily Balakirev: Reminiscences from Glinka's 'A Life for the Tsar'
Sergei Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No.2 in C minor Op.18 (solo piano - arranged by Daniel Nicholson)
Nikolai Kapustin: Prelude No.13 in G flat major
plus something a little different to finish
The Rachmaninoff has never been performed before having only been arranged in 2023!
