Piano Quartet Power! | The Music Room Chamber Players Series

String players from Symphony Nova Scotia join Halifax pianist Ria Kim to take on two monumental works for piano quartet: an energetic and rousing masterpiece by Brahms, and the haunting minimalism of the Latvian composer Vasks, who was composer-in-residence at Scotia Festival of Music in 2016.

Featuring Renaud Lapierre, violin; Ellis Yuen-Rapati, viola; Rachel Desoer, cello; Ria Kim, piano

PROGRAM:
Johannes Brahms: Piano Quartet in G minor, Op. 25
