Piano Lover's Dream (8th Edition)

An entertaining morning of stories and wild improvisation on two spectacular grand pianos

Join us on Sunday, November 15 for a special morning with Italian pianist and showman Ivan Dalia, whose musical journey spans European classical tradition, world music, and jazz. He’ll be joined by renowned piano technician and dealer Terry Flynn, whom Ivan fondly calls “the best piano technician of my life.” Together they’ll blend piano history, vivid anecdotes, and fearless improvisation into a truly unforgettable experience.

Doors open at 11:00 a.m. for refreshments and conversation, followed by the performance at 11:30 a.m.

For this concert, I will be playing two remarkable instruments:

• 9'2" Bösendorfer 280 VC, a majestic Viennese concert grand with a rich, singing tone and extraordinary depth
• 7'5" Steinway C, with the familiar warmth and brilliance of the Steinway sound

Hearing them side by side lets you explore how two legendary piano traditions give the same music very different colors.

The concert will end with a relaxed artist reception featuring thoughtfully selected refreshments. Guests can linger, connect, and keep the conversation going in an intimate, welcoming atmosphere.

Only 20 seats available. Should this show sell out, a second afternoon performance may be added.
