Auf dem live-Mitschnitt eines Konzertes aus dem LOFT vom 4. Januar 2024 verwischen die Grenzen zwischen freier Improvisation und spontaner Komposition, das Album fängt die Erkundung von texturaler Tiefe, rhythmischer Komplexität und geschichteten Strukturen in einem zarten, zugleich fesselnden Klavierdialog ein.

On June 27, 2025, Underwater Consciousness – the highly acclaimed duo album by pianists Kirke Karja and Felix Hauptmann (Album of the Month, October 2025, Jazzpodium) – was released on Boomslang Records.
In this live recording of a concert at the LOFT on January 4th 2024, the boundaries between free improvisation and spontaneous composition blur; the album captures an exploration of textural depth, rhythmic complexity, and layered structures within a delicate yet captivating piano dialogue.
