This is a ten-day workshop for students who have passed IX and X. All living forms are affected by the physical environment in which they live. Temperature, pressure and gravity affect them as much as properties of water, air and other fluids that make them up. Living organisms as well as the processes that drive life have used the laws of physics in unimaginable ways. This course is intended to introduce high school children to some of these fascinating interplay between physics and biology.
