Physical Therapy and Self-Care for Musicians

On Wednesday, October 9th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm EDT, we'll meet on Zoom and at Maestra HQ for a Physical Therapy and Self-Care hybrid workshop with Dr. Dani Luna (PT, DPT, CFMT, CSCS, WFS, RYT, RRCA Run Coach).

This Maestra DEIA Committee-sponsored seminar is tailored specifically for musicians and vocalists. It will focus on strategies to enhance longevity in your career and address common physical challenges faced by musicians and vocalists. Learn essential techniques for injury prevention, posture correction, and self-care practices that support sustained performance and overall well-being. This seminar will equip you with practical tools to maintain your physical health and keep your career thriving for years to come.

This virtual event is open to the public. The in-person session is for Maestra Directory members only.

Dani Luna is a doctor of physical therapy and the co-owner and founder of Vida Physio in NYC. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from NYU. She has a decade of experience as a physical therapist with six years of experience working on Broadway with both performers and musicians. Her background as a competitive athlete and long-time dedication to music outside of her career highlights the importance of movement for quality of life. Dani is passionate about helping individuals achieve their physical goals, specializing in manual therapy and functional movement, focusing on the entire body. Her expertise spans performing arts, sports, orthopedic therapy, and continuous learning shapes her holistic approach.
