Due to recent illness in the whanau, we have had to reschedule this event to Sunday 19 January, 2025.
A one day intensive workshop for performing artists and anyone looking to develop physical skills and awareness.
Participants take a journey of play & exploration, developing spontaneity, freedom, playfulness & presence, plus mime techniques, via games & improvisation.

Fergus Aitken has performed physical comedy and visual theatre in over a dozen countries worldwide since 1984. From arts festival stages to busking in the streets of Europe and Australasia, Fergus has played almost every kind of event.
In 2023 his new visual theatre show for all ages, MR FUNGUS DREAMS, at Circa Theatre, Wellington, achieved a sold-out season and was highly acclaimed.
In 40 years as a mime, actor, character performer, standup comedian, statue, corporate presenter and clown, Fergus has also trained in mask, clown, ensemble, voice and circus, with various renowned theatre practitioners and directors, here in NZ and in London.
Fergus has taught physical theatre and mime classes at many of NZ's leading performing arts schools including: Toi Whakaari NZ Drama School; NASDA; CircoArts; Whitireia NZ.
He has also trained and directed for: Young and Hungry; Basement Youth; Court Youth Development Co; SGCNZ's Sheilah Winn Festival; Footnote Dance... in addition to highly successful public workshops throughout NZ and in Melbourne.
