PHXDW 2024: Pre-Conference Friday Flip Doodle

Skip the long PHXDW Conference registration lines on Saturday morning and join us on Friday evening starting at 6:00PM to pick up your badge & bag during this casual pre-conference Meet 'N' Greet. Grab a drink at the cash bar, have some snacks, catch up with friends, get the lay of the land of the conference location, and enjoy a fun Friday Flip Doodle sketch sesh with illustrator Eric Torres starting at 7PM.

About Flip Doodle

Early in 2020, Eric Torres created – a set of free drawing prompts for people who love to doodle. Well, skipping, skipping – he turned those original PDF downloads into a sorta magical card deck packed with creative possibilities called Flip Doodle Deluxe! In this family-friendly doodling meetup, Eric shares how the game works, what inspired it and how removing realism from our drawings not only refuels our imagination but leads us to new opportunities. Kick off this year's conference with refreshments and creative friends who doodle!

We'll be displaying and sharing all of the delightfully unexpected sketch combos during the conference, and you never know, you might even make it onto Eric's blog yourself!

Not planning to attend the PHXDW Conference? We'd love to see our creative community show up in person and get a taste of the PHXDW experience, too. Friends and family are also invited to purchase a standalone ticket to attend just this event; kids are welcome to attend for free with their parents.

• FREE for PHXDW 2024 conference ticketholders, with RSVP. Have your ticket number ready for the order form.
• BONUS FOR AIGA MEMBERS: Show your membership ID / conference badge for one free drink from the bar.
• $20 General Admission general public / $10 AIGA member
• Kids 15 and under are free in attendance with a parent or guardian.

Includes after-hours entrance to the convention center, light refreshments, and Flip Doodle presentation and participation. One drink ticket will be included for all AIGA members. A cash bar will also be available.
Parking: The entrance to the dedicated Phoenix Convention Center parking garage is at 185 N 2nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85004, the southeast corner of 2nd Street and Monroe. Other garages and street parking are available nearby, with the nearest light rail stops at 3rd St./Washington, 3rd St./Jefferson and Central/Washington.
