Join us for our final May event of Season 9 featuring the amazing quartet on tour from PHX, Bogie Bogie! Bogie-Bogie! is an experimental quartet led by Phoenix guitarist Alex Oliverio. The band toggles between the obvious and the obscure, mixing iconic sounds of the 80s (synths, guitars, drum machines) with modern elements of improvisation, tossing the listeners expectations out the window at every turn. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Bill Frisell, Fred Frith, & Ornette Coleman, Bogie Bogie! will keep you moving in an ambiguous state of bliss.
The band is comprised of Phoenix locals that have far reaching expertise, including Alex Oliverio on guitar, Garrison Jones on synths, Bailey Zick on bass, and Cameron Knouse on drum-kit/drum-machine.
