Join us for INSIDE OUT 5, a free community block party celebrating creativity, healing, wellness, and connection.
Saturday, July 25
1–5 PM
Pillsbury House + Theatre Campus
Inspired by community conversations around health, healing, belonging, and resilience, this year's annual event centers the theme of Vitality, inviting neighbors from across Minneapolis to gather for an afternoon of live performance, music, food, creative activities, wellness experiences, and opportunities to connect.
Through a community health survey conducted by Pillsbury House + Theatre, South Minneapolis residents identified mental health, burnout, access to resources, and opportunities for connection as top community priorities.
In response, INSIDE OUT 5 will feature community healing and wellness activities, family-friendly programming, local artists, creative experiences, food provided by Cooks of Hope, and access to organizations working to support the wellbeing of South Minneapolis residents.
Experience "Born on the Fourth of July: From Mississippi to Minnesota", an immersive sound performance and installation by Makers Series Artist Queen Drea (2 PM, 3 PM & 4 PM).
Explore The Healthcare Reparations Cooperative's Imaginarium, an interactive installation that invites participants to imagine what healthcare could be through storytelling, conversation, and community dreaming—envisioning more equitable, community-created models of care.
Also featuring:
Live KRSM DJs
Artist Marketplace
Food by Cooks of Hope
Family Activities
Block Party Bingo
FREE & open to all ages.
