#Photowalk305 in the 718

#Photowalk305 is a monthly event held at various locations throughout Miami, Florida. Join us for an afternoon of photography, food, and fun at our first photowalk in New York!

This upcoming photowalk, led by film photographer Paola Katherine Rodríguez (@paopaokat.film), will take place in Brighton Beach + Coney Island.

We will meet and greet at the entrance of the Shorefront YM-YWHA of Brighton Beach, then take photos as we stroll on the boardwalk, heading towards Coney Island to then photograph Luna Park. Afterwards, we will grab a bite and drink at the infamous Ruby's Bar & Grill.

For this photowalk, we will delve into street photography and portraiture. Participants will photograph the environment and one another or the people encountered along the way. Participants can explore shooting at a different ISO and experimenting with different apertures and shutter speeds, relying on whatever light available, and focusing on how lighting renders the subject / object and environment.

Participants are encouraged to share their images on their social media platform and hashtag #photowalk305.

This event is FREE

A $10 donation is suggested and appreciated but not required to RSVP.
