About this Event
PhotoVoice: Uncovering Our Neighbourhood's Story
Join us for a unique neighbourhood walk where we’ll explore our community through the lens of our phones. Guided by the PhotoVoice approach, participants will capture photos and videos that highlight the languages, cultures, and everyday objects shaping the identity of our neighbourhood.
This is more than just taking pictures—it’s about learning to see with fresh eyes. Together, we’ll uncover the hidden stories woven into our streets, then gather to share and reflect on what we’ve discovered. It’s a chance to connect with neighbours, celebrate our shared history and heritage, and experience the vibrant culture that thrives right outside our doors.
✨ What to Expect:
- A guided walk through the neighbourhood
- Creative photo and video capturing with your smartphone
- Group reflection and discussion on the stories behind our images
- A welcoming space to connect, share, and learn
