Join the Kw’umut Lelum Foundation team on May 23, 4 - 6 pm for the grand opening of PhotoVoice: an exhibit of photos by Indigenous Youth reflecting on the impact of two different canoe journeys they participated in during 2023: Tribal Journeys and the Queen Liliʻuokalani Outrigger Canoe Race in Kona, Hawaii.
With support from our gifting partners, Save the Children Canada’s National Reconciliation Program, the PhotoVoice project was designed to support and amplify the voices of Indigenous Youth.
To celebrate the Youth we are holding a curated exhibition of the photos, from May 23-June 28 starting with the grand opening on May 23. There will also be an online auction of their photos from June 21-28: https://charityauction.bid/PhotoVoice!
At the grand opening you can enjoy refreshments, learn more about PhotoVoice and view the Youth’s photos (and decide which ones you’d like to bid on in the silent auction, running from June 21-28.
We hope to see you there!
