Photos With Krampus 2024

Join us on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from11:00 AM to 6:00 PM for a thrilling and unique experience at our "Photos With Krampus" event presented by Greater Sacramento Chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers (AAZK). Get ready to capture unforgettable moments with the legendary Christmas creature himself - Krampus!

Krampus, known as the dark companion of Saint Nicholas, will be making a special appearance to add a touch of mischief and excitement to your holiday season. Put on your best holiday attire and strike a pose with this iconic figure of folklore.

Our event will take place in person, allowing you to get up close and personal with Krampus. Bring your family, friends, and even pets along to share in the fun and create memories that will last a lifetime. PLEASE NOTE: While this event is family friendly, Krampus is considered a frightening creature, and though he will not be purposefully scaring guests, some may not enjoy his presence.

Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of the stunning Lucid Winery library, complete with festive decorations and holiday music. Indulge in wine and small bites available for purchase, adding to the merry spirit of the event.

Please note that this event is open to all ages, but parental guidance is required for younger children due to Krampus' mischievous nature. Come prepared for a thrilling experience that combines the magic of Christmas with a touch of the extraordinary.

All proceeds from this event will be going to the Sacramento Zoo's project of building a brand-new world class zoo for this region that will be six times the size!
