"Despite being in use for a long time now, the term “Post Black Metal” remains pretty nebulous, to the point where it sometimes feels like it’s used to describe any and every band that steps even the slightest bit outside of the traditional Black Metal formula.

Apostasie - Melodic Black Metal (DE)
Apostasie play melodic black metal with historical and atheist themes. In their first album 'Non Est Deus,' they narrate the 'Historia Ecclesiastica Perversa' – the madness of dogmas, and rituals of the Roman Catholic Church.
The album discusses events in the so-called Christian "history of salvation", the Latin-Roman church history, as well as the closely related European history. These events and processes are staged as moments of religious madness, dogmatic contradiction and, at the same time, rational criticism and resistance.

OHEN was founded in Trnava, Slovakia in 2013 and have since established themselves as an integral part of the Slovak metal scene. Since the very begining, the band’s sound was based on black metal combined with symphonic and melodic elements.
