Photography Workshop

Participants will travel to the city with our staff for a fun filled day learning is a fun-filled activity with lots of practical sessions and hands-on skills. Our customised syllabus are targeted specifically to young children and teenagers wanting to learn more about photography, ensuring that the kids are engaged throughout the whole workshop, while taking home valuable skill sets that are not just about photography but social interaction and teamwork.

WHAT TO PACK:

Please label all personal items to reduce lost property and misplaced items.

Sunscreen will be available from LLS staff.

If you want to bring your own phone or camera:

Please ensure you have it named and that it remains in your bag or hand at all times.

• Own drink bottle to avoid cross contamination.
• Packed Lunch and Snacks
• Suitable shoes and clothing for event
• Hat and sunscreen

SUITABLE AGE:

LLS school holiday events are suitable for school aged children from 10yrs - 17yrs.

Group events provide 1 support worker to every 4-5 children.

If your child requires 1 to 1 support please contact the LLS office on 08 8382 8219 prior to booking.

Medic*tion:

If you child requires Medic*tion to be administered at the event a Medic*tion form provided by LLS, MUST be completed by your GP prior to the event.

Medic*tion MUST be handed to staff on the day, in a labelled container with required dose ONLY. (Your chemist can assist with this)

TRANSPORT:

If your child requires assistance to get to the meeting place or location of event, please contact our office on 08 8382 8219 to organise additional support.

COVID NOTES:

As per SA Health Restrictions and Responsibilities, the following measures are now in place for all events with Legacy Lifestyle Supports.

All adults are required to COVID check in when dropping off and picking up participants. QR code and manual check in will be made available to all attendees.

All equipment and surfaces used at events will be cleaned regularly. All staff have completed COVID safe training and will be assisting to maintain hygiene at the event.

Hand hygiene will be closely monitored with observations by all staff. Hand sanitiser will be available at all venues where events are held.

Masks will be made available for all Participants and Staff in line with current COVID state requirements.

If you are unwell or been around anyone who has contracted the virus, please do not attend the event and stay home. NOTIFY LEGACY OF ABSENTEEISM.

FEE NOTES:

NDIS Participants will be invoiced the support costs (full fees, minus any out of pocket fees already paid) following attendance at the event.

Community Passes are for children who do not have an NDIS Plan and/or do not have a disability (that's right, we invite the WHOLE community to join us!) The support fees will be covered by our own community funding.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Events may be cancelled prior to the event due to weather conditions, low booking numbers or participant safety. If this is to occur, all fees will be refunded

Where a participant cancels an event booking, they may be charged 100% of the scheduled fee, in accordance with the NDIS Short Notice Cancellation policy.
