Join this free photography workshop and learn to take creative, professional-looking photos. Attend 3 photography workshops here at Central for a chance to have your work displayed at Central Library in August. Photos must be submitted via email by 5:30 PM on July 12, 2024. All photos a subject to review. Winners will be announced July 19th on our Instagram and Facebook pages. Other accommodations may be arranged for those who do not have or cannot use social media.Workshop Dates & Details
April 5 & 19: Introduction to DSLR and smart phone photography, camera functions, and the basics of photography
May 3 & 17: Photography lessons with a DSLR or a smart phone (neither are provided by Central Library or FCLS)
June 14 & 28: Basic photo editing on free software (provided by Central Library)
July 12: Last photography and editing lessons; last-minute touches to participants' photographs before display; 5:30 PM deadline for photo submissions.
July 22-August 5: Display of selected participant photographs at Central Library
