Join Dan's Camera City and photographer Frank T. Smith for a behind-the-scenes photo workshop at this beautiful historic theater.
Explore the art of capturing architectural features in the unique setting of the Civic Theatre. Master low-light conditions, perspectives and depth of field. Enjoy exclusive access to areas not typically open to the public, including backstage, storage areas, and dressing rooms. Recently added to the National Register of Historic Places, the Civic Theatre is a neighborhood landmark nestled in the West End theater district.
Learn the art of photography with renowned architectural and landscape photographer, Frank T. Smith, a proud member of the OM Ambassador program for OM System. Widely respected in the commercial architectural photography community, Frank collaborates with developers, architects, engineers, and owners to capture the essence of their projects.
We'll start on Tuesday night with a one-hour Zoom meeting on at 6:00 PM. This session will provide essential information, introduce your instructors, and allow participants to connect before the hands-on workshop.
Then on Saturday morning we'll meet up at the theater. You'll engage in live shooting exercises both indoors and outdoors. Apply the techniques learned with guidance from experienced photography instructors. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to improve their skills and capture beautiful photos.
