الطبيعة المضيئة: اتقان السيانوتايب والتصوير بتقنية الرسم بالضوء – مع سابينة ماير
كيف يمكن للطبيعة أن تكون مصدرا للالهام فيما يختص بالعمل الفني؟ وكيف يمكن استخدام العملية الإبداعية في استكشاف التفاعل البشري مع الطبيعة؟ يسعدنا الإعلان عن ورشة عمل تمتد الي ثلاثة أيام مع فنانة التصوير والميديا النمساوية سابينه ماير. وعلي مدار ثلاثة أيام سوف تتاح الفرصة لشباب المصورين لتعلم تقنيات السيانوتايب والتصوير بتقنية الرسم بالضوء. سوف يتفاعل المشاركون مع الطبيعة ويقومون بدمجها في أعمال التصوير الفوتوغرافي من خلال استخدام أشياء طبيعية مثل النباتات والزهور والريش
السيانوتايب ويعرف أيضا باسم المخططات الأولية
Blueprint
هي احدي أقدم عمليات الطباعة الفوتوغرافية. وباستخدام الكيماويات والورق يمكن الحصول علي رسومات متفردة
التصوير بتقنية الرسم بالضوء يقوم علي أساس التعرض الطويل للضوء في بيئة مظلمة. وباستخدام مصادر للضوء مثل الضوء الومضي والعصي المضيئة والهواتف الذكية تشعر وكأنك ترسم داخل الصورة

اليوم الثاني: يقوم المشاركون بالعمل علي أعمال السيانوتايب الخاصة بهم
اليوم الثالث: مقدمة عن التصوير بتقنية الرسم بالضوء / يقوم المشاركون بالعمل علي أعمال الرسم بالضوء الخاصة بهم
ملحوظة: سوف تتاح الفرصة لأعمال المشاركين التي سوف يتم اختيارها للعرض بمعرض سابينه ماير بالمركز الثقافي النمساوي يوم ۲ أكتوبر۲٠۲٤

سوف تحتاجون الي
أدوات شفافة نسبيا أو أشكال مجردة مثل أوراق شجر مجففة – زهور – أعشاب (يمكنك تسطيحها مسبقا بواسطة كتاب ثقيل الوزن)
ملابس للعمل أو مريلة حيث ان سائل السيانوتايب قد يسبب بقع علي الملابس

ومنذ عام ۲٠۱۸ تعمل كمدير فني لتطوير المشاريع بجامعة فيينا للتكنولوجيا ومحاضر زائر بجامعة الفنون بجراتس وجامعة ويتوترسراند بجوهانسبرج وجامعة ويبستر بفيينا. لقد حصلت سابينه ماير علي عدة جوائز بما فيها جائزة الفنان المتميز من وزارة التعليم والعلوم والبحوث النمساوية ( ۲٠٠۸ ) و جائزة الفنون التقديرية لمقاطعة النمسا السفلي ( ۲٠۱٩ ). وقد تم عرض أعمالها علي المستوي الدولي بمعرض تبليسي بجورجيا ومتحف ليوبولد بفيينا و متحف هامير بلوس انجلوس

Illuminating Nature: Mastering Cyanotype and Light Painting Techniques | with Sabine Maier
How can nature inspire our artistic work? And how can the creative process be used to explore our human interaction with nature? We are pleased to announce a 3-day photography workshop with renowned Austrian photo and media artist Sabine Maier. Over the course of three days, young photographers will have the opportunity to learn the photographic techniques of cyanotype and light painting. Participants will engage with nature and incorporate it into their photographic work by using natural objects such as plants, flowers, or feathers for their cyanotype prints and external light sources for their light paintings.
1) Cyanotype, also known as blueprint, is one of the oldest photographic printing processes. Using chemicals and paper, unique images can be created.
2) Light painting is based on long exposure and is done in a dark environment. Using light sources such as flashlights, glow sticks, or smartphones, you literally paint into the image.

Day 1: Introduction to analog photography & cyanotype works by Sabine Maier
Day 2: Participants work on their own cyanotype prints
Day 3: Introduction to light painting | Participants work on their own light paintings
Note: Selected participant’s works will have the chance to be presented in Sabine Maier’s solo exhibition at the Austrian Cultural Form on 2 October 2024.

Please note: The number of places available is limited. Due to waiting lists for our workshops, please only register if you can attend all 3 days.

You will need
• Objects that are slightly transparent or have interesting abstract shapes: e.g. dried leaves, flowers, grasses, spices (you can flatten them with a heavy book beforehand). The more translucent the material, the better!
• Work clothes or apron: the cyanotype solution can leave stains.
• If you want to use your own camera, make sure it has 1) bulb mode (for long exposures) 2) remote shutter release (avoids camera shake) 3) a tripod
A b o u t
Sabine Maier is a renowned Austrian freelance media artist and photographer, curator and co-founder of the interdisciplinary art label 'Machfeld' (1999). Since 2018 she has been artistic director for project development at the Vienna University of Technology and guest lecturer at the Kunstuniversität Graz, the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and Webster University in Vienna. Sabine Maier has received numerous awards, including the Outstanding Artist Award of the BMUKK (2008) and the Recognition Prize for Cross-border Art of the Province of Lower Austria (2019). Her work has been shown internationally, including at the Triennale in Tbilisi, the Leopold Museum in Vienna, and the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles.
