Photography: Alternative Processes Session 2

Delve into the captivating world of alternative darkroom photography in this hands-on course that goes beyond the conventional and explores the artistry of alternative processes. Designed for beginners and experienced photographers, this class offers a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of digital media and alternative photographic methods. Participants will learn the fundamentals of darkroom setup, and black and white print development through the practice of creating Photograms. We will also learn how to make Lumen Prints and Cyanotypes, two processes ideal for long summer days.
The highlight of this course lies in the ability to continue to create experimental work long after our time together ends. Many experimental approaches to photography can be practiced at home without needing a darkroom! Learning these methods will add a layer of creativity and individuality to your photographic prints, allowing for the development of truly unique and personalized artworks.
