Cost: £25: Includes all materials; printed photograph onto fabric* (please read below), selection of embroidery threads, Embroidery needle, Embroidery hoop.
Who is this suitable for: Any over 16- this session requires previous hand sewing experience!
What you'll learn & make: Create your own personalised embroidery memory using your own favourite/special photograph...think old family photos, wedding photo, landscapes, pets or special buildings. In this 2 hour session Jo will guide you through adding texture, definition, colour & detail to your photograph- this may vary from person to person depending on the image you have chosen to use. It would be helpful to bring handout/samplers/test pieces you have from attending previous workshops.
(you may not leave with a finished product but will have the skills & knowledge to do so at home)
*Please email us a good quality JPEG image to [email protected] upon booking this workshop- this needs to be with us a minimum of 7 days before the workshop date (unless discussed with a member of staff). images will be printed 6''x4'' which you will need to bare in mind when buying a frame for your finished piece.
