About this Event
The Godox Lab
An Interactive Studio Experience Powered by Godox, RØDE & Tether Tools
Step inside The Godox Lab at PhotoFest and explore a fully built, real-world studio environment designed for photographers, filmmakers, and content creators who want to elevate their lighting and production skills. Throughout the weekend, The Collective’s Slacktide space transforms into a hands-on creative lab featuring professional Godox LED and strobe lighting setups alongside workflow tools from RØDE and Tether Tools to complete the modern studio experience.
Whether you're curious about portrait lighting, building a video setup, tethered shooting workflows, audio solutions, or simply want hands-on time with the latest gear, The Godox Lab is designed to be approachable, interactive, and inspiring.
Between featured programs, attendees are invited to drop in, experiment with the gear, and learn directly from Godox representative Galvin Collins, whose extensive studio and production experience makes this an incredible opportunity to ask questions, test setups, and see how professional lighting techniques come together in real shooting scenarios. From shaping cinematic light to understanding efficient studio workflow, Galvin will be available throughout the weekend to guide participants through the creative process in a relaxed, low-pressure environment.
