PhotoFest | Frame the Needle Photowalk with the Nikon Experience Tour

Hit the streets of Seattle with the Nikon Tour Experience for a guided photowalk from The Collective Seattle to the iconic Space Needle. This casual, creativity-focused walk is all about getting hands-on with gear, exploring composition, and capturing the energy of Seattle along the way.

Start your morning by checking out Nikon loaner cameras and lenses before heading out with fellow photographers and Nikon representatives for an urban photo adventure through South Lake Union and Seattle Center. Along the route, you’ll have opportunities to photograph architecture, street scenes, city textures, public art, and of course the Space Needle itself.

Whether you’re trying Nikon gear for the first time or looking to sharpen your eye with a fresh perspective, this walk is designed to inspire creativity, experimentation, and connection with Seattle’s photography community.

10:00am–10:30am — Nikon Gear Loans & Check-Out

10:30am–12:00pm — Guided Photowalk to the Space Needle

Please bring a memory card and valid ID if you plan to borrow Nikon loaner gear.

We are excited for our annual PhotoFest full of presentations, workshops, and demonstrations from some of the most talented creative artists in their field, all FREE of charge.

Now in its 17th year, PhotoFest continues to exceed our wildest expectations. The three-day event includes a broad spectrum of on-location shoots, studio settings, photowalks, lectures, and product demonstrations. It gives a larger purpose to reconnect not only to our art, but to each other. Image-making and visual storytelling capture moments that are fleeting, but the relationships we build along the way endure.

All our events are FREE and we encourage you to sign up for as many as you want! All programming will be reserved for registered attendees on a first come first allowed basis.
