Photo Transfer Workshop

Join us for our Image Transfer to Wood Workshop on Sunday June 13th, 2021 at 1pm.

Our instructor, Kim Hurt is a professional photographer and artist who has been making image transfer art for 17 years. For this workshop she will share her secret tips and tricks!

In this class, Kim will teach you: Wood preparation, image transfer application, removal of paper, distressed-finish techniques, sealant method, and how to apply hardware on the back of your new art.

Image Transfer to Wood Workshop Includes:

-2 8x10 inches wood transfers (One image you will complete in class, and the other you will start in class and take home to finish)

-prints of your own photos*

-All art materials

No experience needed- all levels welcome!

Image Transfer to Wood Workshop - $55

*We recommend good contrast and high resolution digital files, keeping in mind that white areas in the photo will allow the wood grain to show through in the final piece. We advise you to stay away from portraits (people or animal), as they are tougher to make sure the distressing doesn’t happen over important parts like faces.
