Photo/Riso/Zine | 2 day Micro-Course

Using your own black and white photography as a starting point to explore risograph printing techniques, you will develop a set of page spreads for a collective zine made in collaboration with Foundation Press. All participants will receive a copy of this limited edition zine and a copy will also be deposited in the Baltic Zine Library.

The micro-course will begin with a number of quick experiments designed to demonstrate the basics of riso printing and how this can create unique photography zines. Following this, participants will be encouraged to work collectively, exploring the stories which emerge when images are brought together in a group publication. To conclude the group will design a number of book covers to finish the edition.

Participants are welcome to bring lunch, there will be a break built into each day around 1pm-1.30pm.

There is no charge to attend this course, and we encourage donation tickets. If you're unable to attend the course, we are unfortuantley unable to refund your donation.
