About this Event
Get ready for a creative evening at The Grove Studio on April 15, 2026, to try out the studio! Whether you're a professional or just starting out, this is the perfect chance to see how to bring your vision to life using our space. The bonus? Meet other photographers and creatives and learn from each other!
Drop in anytime during your selected time slot and play with our two sets! Models are also invited!
Which session should I pick?
We have set up two sessions. Pick the one that suits you best and drop in anytime during that session!
- 6pm - 8pm mask mandatory
- 8pm - 11pm mask encouraged/optional
What to bring if I'm a photographer?
All you need to bring is your own camera! If you have your own transmitters and receivers for flash, bring those too (but don't sweat if you don't have these!).
What to bring if I'm a model?
Bring/wear clothing that you feel comfortable with or that you want to show off in. Avoid stripes and overly complicated patterns.
What will be provided?
- Two backdrops with different lighting/ colour moods
- Standard model release agreements for you to use
- A changing tent with mirror inside
The Fine Print
Photographers will be asked to share your choice of photos with the model(s). Please discuss what you are comfortable before starting your session! Models will be asked to sign a model release form - this protects all parties and sets out the terms of how the photos can be used by either model or photographer.
