Phoenix Rising 9: Turn Back Time - Celebrating 25 Years of Belegarth

Phoenix Rising returns on Sept 3-7 (Labor Day Weekend) as a 5 day camping event from Thurs-Monday at our usual site at San Lorenzo County Park in King City, CA!

Our event runs from Thursday to Monday and features multiple days of medieval combat, A&S, tournaments, and nightlife events!
Prices (Cash only):
60$ for camping/multiday. 50$ if you travelled over 500 miles and 30$ if this is your first Belegarth event!

Theme:
This year's theme encourages you to look back over the last 25 years of Belegarth and anime. Dig out your old garb or get inspired by your favorite classic anime! Medieval kits and cosplay are welcome.
Phoenix Rising will be implementing a slightly modified version of the Belegarth ruleset to promote crossgaming! These changes will be posted below. We will also have limited loaner gear for new fighters and crossgamers. The official Belegarth rules can be found at: https://www.belegarth.com/rules
Camping:
The event is a multi day camping event (included in the site fee)! Please bring your tent or plan to car camp! It can get down to 50 at night so plan accordingly. You will also want to plan food as it will not be provided. Many people bring coolers and cook on propane camp stoves, or eat food that doesn't need to be cooked. There's also a grocery store about ~2 miles from the site plus plenty of fast food type restaurants in town. We need to be off site by 12:00 on Monday, so please packup early Monday morning!

Belegarth BoW Rule Changes for this Event:
Removal of 4.9.5.6. The maximum overall length of a flail is forty (40) inches (101.6 cm).
Only for Class 1 Swords (not flails) Removal of 4.9.1.2. A Class 1 weapon twenty-four (24) inches (60.96 cm) in length or longer must weigh a minimum of twelve (12) ounces (340.2 g).
TLDR: Single sword under 48 inches has no minimum weight, and flails have no maximum length.
