The ancient yogis’ texts on conscious breathing, meditation, self-reflection, and mindful body movements were written with the intention of preventing suffering. Today we call it self-care. Yoga philosophy is extremely relevant for our often hectic modern lives. The texts teach us a lot about honoring and nourishing ourselves. These lessons also call us to be good citizens by guiding us to make small, daily choices to co-create desirable communities.
In this workshop, enjoy a lively and uplifting 45-minute lesson on the timeless teachings of yogic philosophy. Then, you’ll engage in a mindful, 75-minute, alignment-based asana practice, tied together in a slow-flowing sequence.
Previous yoga experience is required. Bring a notebook, an open mind, and prepare to be inspired!
