Dan Pucci, co-author of "American Cider: A Modern Guide to a Historic Beverage", will be teaming up with the Lunar Inn and Ben Wenk of Ploughman Cider to talk about the past, present, and future of cider in the Keystone State. Cider in Pennsylvania has made tremendous leaps and bounds in the past few years and this is event for both the experienced and novice cider adventurer because of the ever growing, exploring nature of cider.
Wenk will be presenting a selection of Ploughman ciders that will be available for drinking, tasting and purchase alongside Pucci's book. Ploughman's Cider's come from the orchard lined hillsides of the South Mountain, along the northern extension of the Blue Ridge Mountains overlooking historic Gettysburg. Orchards have been part of these communities for centuries with cider recent addition breathing new life into these farms.
This dynamic and exciting terroir was recently featured in the Washington Post. Cider from Adam's County should be on the tip of the tongue of every beverage lover.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn, taste and explore the potential of cider as we discuss the innovations, changes and promise of cider in the years to come.
