Phillips Park Zoo Tram Tours 2022

Phillips Park Zoo is pleased to announce the return of the popular Tram Tour for the 2022 Summer season. This relaxing ride offers a ~30 minute narrated tour of Phillips Park's grounds, wildlife, and natural history.

New for the 2022 Season: Reserved seating and advanced ticketing! No more waiting in line; just reserve your complimentary tickets online, and arrive at the Stover Visitor's Center 10 minutes before your scheduled tour. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and advanced reservations are required for all guests.

Tours are scheduled daily at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, and 4:00 pm throughout the summer season (June 1st - Aug 15th). Guests should arrive at the visitor center 10 minutes before their tour is scheduled to begin.

Guests will board the tram ride from the back patio of the Stover Visitor's Center, which is located just outside the zoo's south gates at 1000 Ray Moses Drive, Aurora, IL.

Advanced tickets are required and available at no cost. If you spontaneously visit the zoo and wish to ride the tram, you can visit https://bit.ly/PhillipsParkTram on your mobile device or stop by the Stover Visitor's Center 10 minutes before the tram is scheduled to depart to see if any last-minute tickets are available.

The tram seating consists of benches that can each accommodate 2-3 adult passengers. We will not seat individuals from multiple parties on the same bench, so reserved tickets are grouped by bench. Please reserve 1 general seating bench ticket for every 2-3 passengers in your party, depending on your individual passengers' seating needs & comfort.

Yes; the tram can accommodate one passenger using a wheelchair per tour. When reserving your tickets, please select "ADA Wheelchair Accessible Seat" to reserve the wheelchair accessible seat. Please note that the ADA Bench Seat only applies to the wheelchair user; if you need additional seats for other members in your party, be sure to also reserve General Seating bench tickets for those individuals.
